H1B expires Sep 30th, Extension application reached USCIS on Sep 26th? Please help

My H1B expires Sep 30th -Today, I-94 expires on Oct 10th , Application for extension received by USCIS on Sep 26th morning. My Attorney did not mention 240 day ext on I-129 , Is this a problem or does 240 day extension automatically applies for me ?

240-day extension of employment authorization is automatic if they requested Extension of Stay on the I-129. However, you can't prove the employment authorization to your employer until you get the I-129 receipt.
