Dropbox: do they look you up on LinkedIn ?

Just finished my Dropbox appointment. My LinkedIn is private with no profile photo. Should I make it public and add my profile photo ? Does the person looking at my application look up linkedins and other profiles online?

There’s no reason for why my LinkedIn is private, I’m just not very active there but it is updated.

Also, my LinkedIn name is my nickname (that’s what everyone at my company calls me too) and my application has my legal name on it. Should I update my LinkedIn to show my legal name https://vlc.onl/?
