My friend's I-94 has expired but they left US within 170 days of expiry. They have a valid I 797 and visa stamp. They have applied for a correction request via email to the CBP from India but the correction request was sent almost 190 days after expiry (legally they have not overstayed beyond 180 days in the US). They have a valid passport too (~8 years)
Now they're wondering what's needed so they can enter back into the country. Anyone been through a similar situation? What was the outcome?
