Need help regarding port of entry

Hi , I am working is Dallas on h1b remotely. And my spouse is going to travel to US on h1b and his location as per LCA is New Jersey and Arizona. Our kid is also going accompany him but kid's visa is dependent on my visa.
Can my spouse travel to Dallas first and drop off our kid with me and then travel to employer's location following week.
Will he encounter any problem during port of entry at Dallas? Will cbp offer deny his entry?

Yes, your spouse can travel to Dallas first to drop off your child with you before heading to their employer's location. As long as they have valid documentation and are transparent with CBP officers, they should not encounter any problems during port of entry at Dallas.
