Urgent H4 Visa Question

Hi -

I am getting married soon and want to file H4 visa for my would be wife.
Do i have to submit the DS 160 form after we get married so that her status is legally married at that time? Or i can file the application now stating the status as Married to speed up the process?

Earlier it used to be DS 156/157 and they were not online forms but DS 160 is online form so technically she is not married if she submit the application now. If she mention her status as Single then she doesn't qualify for Spouse visa.

The information in the DS-160 should be as per the date of the visa interview. You can go ahead and fill the application as married provided you will be married before the interview.
