221G on H1 , can i apply for F2?

Hi everyone,

I attended my visa interview on the 8th of Dec 2010 and I got a yellow slip(221g) asking for more documents(end client letter etc.). Since I didn't have an end client letter, I provided a vendor letter and submitted the documents by 15th of Dec. I'm not sure if they would accept or not.what are the chances for approval?

My wife has a valid F1 visa and she will be going to the US to attend the spring semester.

Since I'm not sure as to how long would the administrative processing take, so I'm planning to apply for my f2 visa.

My questions are:
(1) Can my wife apply for my f2 visa while my h1 is under administrative processing?
(2) How soon can my wife apply for my f2 visa?
