HDFC receipt issue

Hi,

I have taken a HDFC receipt for my sister-in-law for her H4 Visa. In the passport, the first name is mis spelled. We have changed the name in the passport. The HDFC receipt has the name in the old passport. What is process of changing the name in the HDFC receipt? Do I need to take a new HDFC receipt?

I don't think it is an issue. Ask her to carry both the passports when she goes for stamping. You should call VFS helpdesk to confirm.

missing letter in HDFC First name

Hello shervin143/anyone who had the same situation,
In my wife's HDFC receipt her first name has a letter missed,say if her name is "abcdefghijk" but in receipt its "abcdefgijk",the 'h' is missing .But i took the appointment with the correct Name as in passport (also as in DS-160).Will that be a Issue when we go for Interview?
Please advice
