Hi all,
I recently transitioned from an F1 STEM visa to an H1B visa this month and am currently in the US. I plan to visit my home country for the first time in many years (due to COVID and work) and get my H1B stamp.
On the DS-160 form, I’m unsure how to answer “Have you made specific travel plans?”. I selected “No” because I haven’t booked my round-trip flight yet. Once I have my itinerary, should I update the form with the “arrival date” as my return date to the US and the “departure date” as when I leave for my home country(since I am already in US right now)?
Additionally, should I put “3 years” of intended time of staying since that’s how long my h1b lasts?
