Hi - I have a question regarding working on H4-EAD. My wife has an approved H4-EAD until 2025. However, her COS to H4 is still pending. The issue here is that my wife had a valid H4 and H4 EAD when renewed back in 2022. She changed her status to H1 in 2023 and we had to change her status back again to H4 due to layoffs. Although her H4-EAD is still valid until 2025, the COS to H4 is still not approved.
Question here really is that if she can start working based on her H4 case receipt since she already has her EAD approved? Has anyone faced a similar situation before?
