So my understanding is for H1B lottery while working on OPT, you get 1 chance per year. So if you have STEM-OPT authorization (and an employer who's sponsored you), you'd get 3 chances at the lottery?
So for example if chances are 15%, you'd have 0.85^3 = 0.61 --> 1-0.61 = 39% chance of getting an H1B in those 3 years of OPT?
And if chances for a masters with STEM OPT are like 25%, you'd have 0.75^3 [....] = 58% chance of getting an H1B in those 3 years of OPT?
