H4 Interview - Question on Marriage
Hello All. Any/All advice would be greatly appreciated.
I had travelled to India 2 weeks back for the purpose of marriage and got our marriage solemnized by our parents and our immediate family members at my wife's place. We then got our marriage registered the next day at a sub-registrar's office and have a valid marriage certificate from the govt. We have the wedding reception planned for February and my wife has her H4 visa interview scheduled in November. We had met through our parents and have been talking to each other for almost 8 months now before deciding to tie the knot. I am on my H1B and plan on bringing my wife along in Feb post reception. All the photos that we have are the ones from the day of solemnization and a few photographs/chat from the time we first met.
Can you shed some light on the questions/answers that we would be posed during the interview?
Do we need to complete the regular rituals first prior to the visa interview?
Would it be advisable to attend the visa interview with the marriage certificate and photos captured during the ceremony held at home ?
