Q about EAD: I am on H1 with I140 approved from another company.

I am on H1 visa and I have I140 from my previous company. Now, I am with another company who did not start my I140 yet.


I am going to get married in couple of months.
Can I apply for H4 EAD for my wife (once she comes to USA on H4 with me after marriage) even thought I don't have I140 with current company?
