H1B laid off. What are my options ? Urgent help needed

Hello all,

I am a H1b visa holder with 4 years remaining. I lost my job 2 weeks ago and I’m looking for options to maintain my legal status here. I know I have 60 days before I can find another job, but i also want to explore the possibility of pausing my H1b status, move back to India, search for a new job and come back on my H1b.

Is it even possible to pause one’s H1b visa ? Is there anyone who has followed this route ? If yes, what was the procedure ? Please help’
