Hi all.I was arrested long back in 2018 and then released after few hours on bond,later case was dismissed.The offense was “Failure to give information and leave the scene of accident( property damage only ).It is misdemeanor.
I had my H1B visa stamped once in 2022 with Dropbox appointment where I was called for an interview to show dismissed case document.I did mentioned “no” in DS-160 for question “Have you ever been arrested ?”.My visa was approved after I explained to Visa officer then and I travelled to/fro US India twice since then.From then,I had been secondary screened for 20-30 min without any questions https://routerlogin.uno/ https://192168ll.link/ .
This time I will have to go for stamping again to India and I am decided to say “yes” in DS-160 for same question.
I don’t have any issues with this but I want to be honest this time.I do have all dismissed case documents just like last time.
Any suggestions or opinions? Do I have to Expunge my case? I read online that it is visible at POE even though it is expunged.
