Allowed to take toddler to Dropbox appt in Chennai?

Me and my partner have our own work visas and both of our Dropbox appointments are at same time. We are not local to Chennai but will be dropping off our documents in person there and plan to take our 4 year old kid along with us. Are we allowed to take our kid into the Chennai VAC for Dropbox?
