Travel to the US while waiting for a decision

Hey everyone,

Can I travel from the UK to the US for a holiday while waiting for a decision? I would be travelling on an ESTA Visa waiver.

I filled a H1B visa via premium processing however I anticipated being much further down the line with the process by now but things got delayed. As such I’ve not seen my girlfriend for a while and wanted to visit her for a holiday before any interview or approval was reached, is that possible?
