h4 to h1b visa

Hi all,

I live in United states on h4 visa. I have heard that a h4 visa holder must
be unemployed atleast for 6 months.

can anyone please let me after how many months I should search for a job if I have to work?

It is been only one month I came to United states. If I find a sponsor, can I go to work before 6 months.

There is no such 6 month rule, but you must have H1 approval in hand before you can start working.
