h1 b visa issued 221 g

I am kumar i attend the visa interview in chennai and VO has returned my passport and he has taken my hdfc receipt and DS 160 . he has issued me 221 g blue slip regarding petioner details and has told to drop the documents in the drop box with out pass port .

actually when i have to submit the passport ????
the documents to be drop has to be original or xerox ?

Can any one help on this ???

>>> Check your 221g. There will be instructions on what documents are required. If you are in doubt, call the VFS helpdesk or email them.
