Urgent :: H1-B H4 Visa stamping - Interview result information

Hi,

I am appearing for a visa stamping interview for my H1-B and H4 for my wife in about a week's time.

My question is a little unconventional.
I was wondering if there is any way for my employer to know about the result of the VISA stamping interview ( accpetance/rejection) from any source other than me.

Is there a way for my employer to inquire the consulate about my stamping rejection/acceptance?

The reason i ask this question is that I have another employer who has filed another h1-b petition and i want to wait for its approval notice before deciding on which option to take.

please help.
