Is original I-129 required for H1B stamping when I have I-I797 original?

My sponsor has sent me original I-797, but hasn't sent I-129, is it required to caryy I-129 for H1b stamping?

I-129 is not the LCA. It is the petition filed to USCIS.

Hi OP,

You should carry I-129 with you when u go for the interview if u don;t want any chances with your stamping because VO can ask for it (even if you have approved I-797)

And as mentioned also carry LCA papers (which is a separate doc)with you....bcos VO can ask for that also.
