Hi,
I appeared for H1B stamping last month at Chennai Consulate. I am having a graduation in Maths and am working for a reputed Indian MNC for 4.5 years.
The officer asked about my qualification and exp details and issued me a 221(G) blue slip asking me to submit the following docs through VFS drop box
1) Original petition docs
2) Copy of Offer letter from my employer
3) Certified copy of academic certificates
I dropped the above docs along with the passport at VFS office within 3days. Now after a gap of 3 weeks i received back the passport along with the VISA Refusal letter. The reason mentioned in that is the " You are academically and professionally not qualified for H1B visa"
Can anyone pls let me know if this is because of the graduation degree that i possess or if this is because of less experience. I have seen many similar cases for which stamping has been approved.
Also can i reapply for H1B in teh near future? Will this rejection affect my future H1B stamping
