Hello,
I am currently on OPT [Already 7 days into it unemployed]. I got a job offer at a very small firm. The job role is programming [VB, C#, JavaScript etc...]. It is a software solutions company. However my major is Electrical & Computer Engineering. My I-20 says its Electrical, Electronics & Communication.
Now I can draw some parallel between what I have studied [ Computer Networks, Computer Security, Telecom etc...] to the job profile.
Can anyone tell me how much related it is to my major? Will it cause problems if I accept this offer?
Will this be a problem while filing H1B?
