H1b Stamping clarification

Hi all,
I am going for my h1 b stamping soon..While going through my petition I have found that there is not client invite letter. When I checked with my employer he said that I am going to work him only and there is not client ( meaning in-house project) . I am worried if this would create any issue while stamping. Please clarify whether this is valid to get visa approval.

If you are really NOT going to work at the client site, then the client letter is not required. You will need to carry proper documents about the in-house project that you will be working. Talk to your employer and gather as much information as possible about the project. If the H1B sponsor is a consulting company in U.S, then expect to have more questions about the in-house project.
