Alternative options if H1 is rejected

Hi Friends,
Got RFE for H1 Transfer.I hope my visa will be approved.I am looking for alternatives incase my visa gets rejected.Please clarify these:
#1.Can I apply for new H1B with different company if my H1 transfer is rejected?
#2.Planning to apply for Canadian visa.My friend suggested that I have to stay in Canada for 3+ years to obtain TN visa.Correct me if this is incorrect.Any other options through Canada?
#3.While residing in Canada, can I work/travel for USA clients?
#4.Any other possibilities to work in USA?
Exploring thru canadian websites & blogs for more info.Please share your thoughts.
