Is H4 Restamping required after H1 Transfer?

Hi,

Me and my wife got stamped in December 2011 and our current Visa is till July 2012. I came back to US in january and i have applied for H1 transfer , i got approval . My wife is still in india only. I am planning to Go to india in March and get my wife back. So do ?

1) I have go for new Visa Stamping.(Many posts says not required) at the POE i can show the new I-797.

2) Should my wife has to get re-stamped with this new I-797?.

Neither of you need to apply for Visas again. Both of you can use your existing Visas with new petition approval notice.
