H1B Visa stamped. Middle name wrong in DS-160

Hello,

It seems that I made a mistake in my DS-160 and my H1B got stamped with an error in my middle name. I repeated my lastname as my middle name so my full name appears as: 1stName 1stLASTNAME 1stLASTNAME 2ndLastname

I have a Tourist Visa also stamped wich is OK. Also the data on my passport.

My I797 is OK and everything else is OK.

I am still in my home country. Should I be worried about it? Should I try change it here or in the US?

In any event, what's the correct procedure to change it?

Better get it corrected. Talk to VFS helpdesk to see how it can be done.

Sure.

The process to solve the problem was quite easy and fast.

I just went to the same place I went to have my Visa stamped at the US Embassy, gave my passport to one of the people of the first control and told them that there was a mistake in my name. He received it and gave me a ticket. Told me to come back in two days and so I did.

And there it was: A new visa stamped showing my name correctly.

I don't even had to wait on the line.

How to change name in L1 B VISA

Hello,

It seems that I made a mistake in my DS-160 and my L1 Blanket got stamped with an error in my first name.

First time, VISA got rejected & in the second time the same has been approved.

But, I did typing mistake in my DS 160 form.

Do any body faced the same problem? If so, Please give me advice that How can I get it changed.
