I am planning to visit India ,I understand I need to go for visa renewal as it got expired in Sep 2010.
Here is the most common question ( job gaps) but not seeing answers for this kind of situation in the forums.
I know, I was out of status( Job gaps) for a while .Can I fill DS160 as below? My friends suggesting not to show any gaps since I do have W2’s and Federal tax for 08, 09, 2010.
1. Comp A : (used this to fly land in U.S): Mar 2008 to June 2008. GAP
2. Company B: (I797 valid from May 08 to May 2011):July 08 to Aug 08 have pay stubs
3. Company C: (I797 valid Sep08 to June 2009): Worked Sep 08 to May 09 have pay stubs
4. Company B: June 2009 to Sep 2009 GAP
5. Company B: Oct 09 to May 2010 Worked.
(Moved to company B since I797 is valid till May 2011)
6. Company D: June 2010 to till present (Working)
When I am filling experience field in DS160 . I like to fill as below (Current company at first)
1. Company D: June 2010 to till present (Working, Have pay stubs)
2. Company B:Oct 09 to May 2010 Worked (Have pay stubs)
3. Company C: (I797 valid Sep08 to June 2009): Worked Sep 08 to May 09(Have pay stubs)
4. Company B: (I797 valid from May 08 to May 2011):July 08 to Aug 08 ( Have pay stubs)
5. Not showing company A details
6. Showing India experience.
Please let me know possible questions ?
Suggest me How can I repair this situation?
What will happen If don’t how the gaps as my friends suggested?
