URGENT: H1 transfer: Question on I 797 A start date. Plz help

I have my H1 I 797 valid until September 2011 with company A. I have recently applied to company B and was about start at company B from March 1, 2011. B applied for H1 transfer and received 797 and I'm surprised to see the start date as March 7th.

Company B did all the internal work for start date as March 1. Should I inform company B HR about changing the start date to March 7th. Company A is OK for any end date. I personally prefer to move to company B as quickly as possible.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

If you are authorized to work for Company B only from 7th March, then you should join them only on 7th March. It looks like that is the start date requested by employer B when they filed form I-129.
