    H1b and 1099, please help

    I am doing a J-1 waiver and have a H1b stamped, and get W2 from my employer. I also work partime, for which I have H1b approved ( but not stamped). My partime employer gave me 1099 to file taxes, is that right? if not how can that be fixed? Please help.
