Urgent: Do i need to do re-stamping of H1 Visa

Hi All,

Following is the context of my concern :-

1) Company-A filed H1B in 2008 got approved and worked for 6 mnths, due to recession came back to india and got H1 visa stamping from Hyderabad
in May 2009. Unfortunately my company-A revoked my H1 pettion. so i stayed back in india and working till date.



2) Now a Company-B is keen on filling for new H1-B pettion and they are telling me that there is no need of Visa stamping and you can enter US with old H1-B Visa under the Company A
So is this correct?..and more over my H1-B visa stamped on my passport of company-A is set to expire on sept 30 2011. So is it adviceable to come to US with old VISA or do i need to
get new stamping with Company-B. as it is getting expired within 6 months.



So, please advise me of any possible issues that may arise during POE

Very basic question and it has been answered 1000's of times in immihelp. It is clearly documented in the FAQ section of immihelp. If you already have a valid H1B visa stamped in your passport, then you can use that to travel to U.S with a valid petition from the new company. The visa should remain valid on the day you enter U.S.
