Hi,
I am currently on OPT and it is valid until January 2006.
My company will sponsor me for an H1B so I will apply for an H1B on April 1st 2005 to start on October 1st 2005.
If my H1B is approved and I receive a new I-94, what happens if I go on vacation outside the US for two weeks in August?
Can I come back, work with my OPT for a few weeks until October 1st and then start working with my H1B? Can I enter the US as an F1 or do I need to get an H1B visa stamp while outside the US? The problem is that if I try to enter the US as an H1B in August, they might say it is too early because my H1B will start only on October 1st.
Please help me...
