Time left on H1

Hi folks,
I need to know how much time is left for me to work on H1 ?

I came to US on L1B visa , in Oct 2007 , through Company A and worked for them till Apr 2010.Then i had Change of status to H1 and since then i have been working on H1.My H1 is valid till Nov 2011.

Now my original L1 petition was approved in Nov 2006, but my L1 visa start date was 1 Oct 2007 and i landed in US for first time on 25th Oct 2007.

I know that total period allowed to work on H1 , is 6 years.

But i want to know from when it is counted ? From Nov. 2006 (when L1 petition got approved) or Oct. 2007(when L1 visa was granted i.e start date )
Can my H1 be renewed after it's expiry in Nov 2012 ?

L1 + H1B in total is for 6 year. Only the time spend in U.S on L1 and H1B status counts towards the 6 year limit. You do the math to figure out howmuch time is left in that CAP.
