On H1...Not in US for last for months...

Dear sir/Madam,

I am on H1b visa and also has got it stamped but due to unforeseen personal reasons I had to stay back in home country.

So my question is that I am on a leave for last 4 months now but all the while I am in home country so does my H1B status come under any, as it was unpaid leave that I sorted from the company.

Kindly explain

If you have not been to the US on H1, your H1 status has not yet started. Therefore, there is no question of upaid leave as you have not joined the employer.
