H1-B Inquiry-Project Postponed

Dear Sir/Madam,


I supposed to start working for client A this week, but then the very last minute I had received an email from my company regarding the role for client A is now on hold.

The company asked me to postpone my flight ticket back to US and has promised to place me in another project but the timing of the placement remains uncertain.

In the meantime, I am not paid a salary which I cannot sustain for any length of time.

I have 2 questions in mind,

1) Will I be entitled to get my salary?

2) Is it possible for me to transfer my H1-B visa if I manage to get another offer. *(I don't have any pay stub)

1. If you already in the U.S. with that employer, yes, you are supposed to get paid. Otherwise, no.

2. Yes, but that would be tough without paystubs.
