Let me explain my situation and would greatly appreciate your feedback. We had layoffs in IT dept (across development, system admin, server ops, desktop support etc.) and I work in business analysis group. My I-94/petition expires Nov 2011 and due for extension...
1) Will there be issues with H1 extension due to layoffs in other depts within IT? Should the company hold for some grace period before filing extension?
2) Does this impact I-140 approval?
