want to change compnay during I-140 process

Hello,
I recently applied for I-140 & waiting for to get I-140 approval.and then I would have to wait for my PD date become current date to fill up I-485 form.I think it waiting time period would be 7-8 years.so in between that time if i will change company the do i need redo all that process for labor,I-140 & I-485 with new company?

If you change your employer, then you will need to start the GC process all over agaian. However, you can recapture the priority date from the current labor to file I-485 with the new employer.
