Query from USCIS after H1B extension approval

Hi All,

I got a situation here.My H1B extension approved 6 months back. At that time i have submitted the client letter.

Now my employer said he got a mail from USCIS asking for the client details and reported manger details. just last week i am done with the client.

Is it possible USCIS asking for details after 6 months of extension?

Has it occured to anyone?

Possible. They do a random site visit as well. If you no longer work for that client and if your work location has changed, then an H1B amendment should have been already filed.
