I am in the US on a visitor visa (B2). I applied for the FY2011 CAP H1B in January while they still had not met the Cap limit.Just last month I sent additional information for my application. Thing is, my visitor visa expires on the 8th of June 2011. Is there a grace period allowed for me to carry on staying in the states while they work on my application,or must I leave when my visitor's visa expires? This H1B application started on April 1st last year.Kindly advise.
