H1B stamping in Toronto, Canada

I am working in USA for last four years. I came here on L1 visa stamped in Germany valid till 11th May,2011. In October 2010, it was changed from L1 to H1b. I switched company recently and did H1b transfer which was approved couple of weeks back. I have valid I-94 till 2014.

I am curious to know if I am qualified to get my visa stamped in Canada. I understand Canada don't allow first time visa stamping.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

First time H1B stamping should be from your home country.
