Hi,
My wife is currently working on L1B, her I-94 was expired in Apr-2011 but her company has filled L1A before I-94 expiry. It's Jun 2011 now and I am still waiting for L1A answer. So to survive in worst case I need to file her H4 visa.
My question is: What will be the good time to file my wife's H4 visa, I want to do whatever I can to avoid her trip to home country. So is it ok if I file H4 before I get the L1B application's answer? or will there be sufficient time to file H4 if L1A is rejected?
Also that will be great if someone can give me link for information on how to file H4 when beneficiary is in USA itself.
