wrong state of residence, mentioned in H1b Visa interview appointment letter

Hi all, please help...
Unfortunately, while I was booking the visa slot for my friend in Chennai consulate, I selected the state of residence as Tamil Nadu, where as he resides in Andhra Pradesh, will it create any problem at visa interview ? if so what to is the next stage...

No issues. One can attend the visa interview at any U.S consulate in India. If you want to book the interview at Hyderabad, then cancel the appointment and book it again.
