got 221(g) for my H4 visa renewal

Hi,
i appeared for my H4 visa renewal at Chennai consulate last week. I was given 221 (g) and asked to submit a list of documents. My question is -
should i be submitting the original I 797 petition along with other docs at the VFS centre drop box.

Please share your thoughts. Thankful for all your responses. It really is important fo rme to know if it is safe to submit the original petition. Has anyone else done this before. please share your thoughts.

You need to submit the original (Take a copy before you do that). Once the visa gets approved, they will return the petition along with the passport.
