Hi ,

i will be travelling to India in october for 3 weeks. i have valid visa in passport upto May, 2012 with my old employer and my new Employer's H1 approval . i don't want to take a risk of going now for stamping in india with my new employer.

1) will Immigration Officer at Port of Entry asks about why stamping not done with new employer?

2) i am travelling directly to my work pace (SFO) instead of my employer place (NJ) . i heard , sometime back , somebody were deported. is this really an issue now?

3) any issues in POE now a days?

>>> That is not an issue. Read the FAQ in immihelp.

>>> It is not an issue as long as the LCA and the H1B is filed for SFO.
