Do i need to carry original I797 for Visa Interview?

I have always carried original I797 for my previous visa stamping. I was wondering if it is required and given we have the PIMS system, I can just take printout of the scanned copy ? Will that work

It can work for dependents, but for principal it is still recommended to carry the original. You can try your luck with a copy.
