H1B - out of status ?

Hi -

My project in company A in US ended on March 13 .But I have left US on March 22 and joined back company A in India .

I came back to US after H1B transfer through company B .

Am I really out of status for the 9 days that I was not paid by company A .
Would it cause any problems in the H1 transfers in the future ?

Yes, you are out of status for the period that you did not work. Since the duration is less, i don't think it would impact.
