Gap between Quitting and Joining New Company on H1b

I am currently working in Company A and my H1b for the company is valid till 09/13. In the meanwhile I had applied and got a H1b Transfer Approval from Company B and the H1 is valid from 07/11 till 07/14.

I will be resigning from the company A and my last working Day is 27th July 2011( Wednesday) for Company A and then I will be joining Company B on 1st of Aug , 2011. ( Monday) .
Is the gap between 27th July and 1st Aug ,which comprises of 2 Working Days when I will be unemployed allowed. and I will not be Out of Status for H1B ?

Really appreciate your valuable inputs in this regard.

FYI I will be moving from Bay Area to Texas and will be using those 3-4 days to arrange for the moving stuffs etc.

Technically, yes, you are out of status for those 2 days. However, this duration is too short to be an issue. A couple of days is not a big deal.
