Hello,

Few months before I bought a HDFC DD for my H1B interview, due to personal reasons I'm planning to cancel the DD, so I'm wondering is it possible to get the money refund? or can I transfer it to my other friend name? Please let me know your views.

You cannot get the money refund or transfer it to any other person. You can use the DD to apply for a visa within 1 year from the date of issue. If not, it will become void. Here is another similar post
