H4 Without H1 stamping

I am a student (F1) and got my H1 approved recently. My wife wants to go for H4 stamping and I was wondering if I need to have my H1 stamped before she files for her H4.

H1 stamping not required for H4

H1 stamping is not required to get H4 stamped as both are independent visas. my friends have done it and didn;t have nay problems. You will surely get it.
