I have got a job in USA a couple of days before and they want to apply my H1b under new CAP, Can I ask my employer to apply under premium process? so I can get approval in a two weeks of time and may go for stamping in a month or so?

my question here is can i apply for new h1b through premium process or not under new CAP (2011-2012) that is currently open? Am i supposed to wait until quota is full?

Yes, they can apply your H1B under a new CAP which is currently open. It can be applied under the premium process and you can go for visa interview immediately upon the petition approval. However, you can travel only 10 days prior to the H1B petition effective date which will be on or after Oct 1st.
