H4 stamping very urgent query
Hi,
I recently got H4 visa stamping but my daughter is given 221(g) as mother name in her passport needs to be corrected.My passport has my maiden surname while my name in my daughter passport has my surname after marriage. The consulate officer said that if my name in her passport is changed he will give visa for her.But the passport officer is not agreeing to change my name in her passport. He says that I need to change my maiden surname. In that case will my visa be valid or do I need to go for visa stamping again.Please help.
